The United World Colleges teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, which is known worldwide for its challenging and broad education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t

What is the IB?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t

The International Baccalaureate Office (IBO) is a foundation based in Geneva. As an umbrella organization, it it assesses and accepts schools into the IB programme. UWC Robert Bosch College is an IB World School. The College has passed with distinction all 89 criteria by which IB schools are measured.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t

At UWC Robert Bosch College, the scores achieved by students is consistently well above the international average. The IB diploma prepares young people very well for the requirements of internationally renowned universities. UWC alumni are welcomed into many innovative international universities and many of the German UWC alumni are accepted into the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

What does studying at UWC Robert Bosch College look like?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t

To pass the IB Diploma, students choose six subjects (three advanced courses and three foundation courses), which include science, mathematics, languages and humanities. In addition, they write a term paper on a topic of their choice (extended essay), complete the one-year Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course and complete at least 150 hours of extra-curricular activities in the areas of Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS).<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n
