The Digital Revolution of Healthcare

How is artificial intelligence changing our healthcare system?

Who are the players who are deciding today what our health will look like tomorrow? And what does the enormous increase in efficiency and speed brought about by AI mean for companies in the healthcare sector, for employees in the healthcare sector – and above all for all of us as patients and as a society?

In clinics, hospitals and doctors’ surgeries, electronic health records, data-based management systems, AI-supported evaluations, forecasts and resource planning are becoming just as important as robotic assistance systems in the operating room, intelligent assistance solutions and many other digital technologies. Doctors, healthcare professionals and patients are increasingly being supported by cognitive systems – from the first telemedical consultation and AI-supported diagnoses to individualized therapies and follow-up care in the home environment. The digital networking of patient data, public health data and data from health apps and smart wearables forms the basis for personalized and optimized healthcare services.

We are inviting international and regional players from the healthcare sector to a joint theme day to bring together experts from business, research and practice as well as patients. Discuss with us, ask questions and contribute your perspectives!

The keynote speaker is Anna Maria Braun, CEO of B. Braun SE, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, which is also represented in Freiburg by B. Braun New Ventures.
