Jazz Picnic in our garden with Camaro Involtaire

Fine outdoor tunes: The annual jazz picnic presented by the concert series ‘Kultur in der kartause’ is coming up soon and we are looking forward to welcoming many guests to the summery monastery garden. On Tuesday, July 8, the young Freiburg band Camaro Involtaire will play in the garden from 6 p.m. onwards. In the past years, the sextet has been exploring the musical world of jazz, funk and danceable ska. Their programme is versatile, with room for experiments and surprises – always with the aim of transferring the joy of playing to the audience. Music that moves, is fun and invites you to dance along.

Admission is free. As always, we welcome donations for our ‘Kultur in der Kartause’ scholarship program, which supports applicants with refugee status to get a school place at UWC Robert Bosch College.
