Annual Report 2024/25: Education for peace, sustainability, and democracy

Our Annual Report 2024/25 is published: Looking back on the past school year
In our recent Annual Report, we look back on our school’s anniversary year, which began with the 10th anniversary celebrations in September last year. It is also the first school year under the leadership of our principal, Dr. Helen White, who emphasizes in her foreword on p. 5 how important our school’s focus on peace education is, especially today.
Education for peace, sustainability, and democracy are also central themes in our annual report—here are a few insights:
• Our school’s Anti-Racism Working Group provides insights into its work.
• In an interview, CAS coordinator Tina Patzelt talks about the value of community service at RBC.
• Student Tuge describes her experiences from the theme day “Racial Inequality.”
• In his foreword, our Board of Trustees Chairman, Mayor Martin Horn, describes how RBC builds bridges in the city of Freiburg.
We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and would like to thank everyone who has supported us and our work this year. We look forward to seeing you again at
our Open House on September 27, 2025.
